Editorial notes.

Our archives include URTEXT editions - the integral instrumental work by Vivaldi is one of them. For Mozart's and Haydn's editions we refer to the most important monumental editions. If the main source is a modern edition, we consult also the first historical print, preferring it to any other manuscript whose copyist is unknown, for example the string trios and some symphonies by Haydn.

In the case of Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, Mendelssohn and Brahms we consider the edition by Breitkopf & Härtel in Leipzig to be the most reliable and we correct only the evident publishing mistakes.

The practical editions with their parts are available now, their versions with the critical notes will be published subsequently and only the print out will be available.

In order to guarantee the high professional quality of the editions, our musicians check the scores in seven different steps of control: the context (changing of keys, time signatures etc.), the dynamics (slurs, accents, graces, dynamics), the rhythm (irregulars, time matching and alignment) and four steps for notes and accidentals.
